VAM Machine (Vapor Absorption)
Cooling from waste heat — slash electrical load.

Vapor Absorption Machines (VAM) generate chilled water from a thermal energy source — exhaust from gas engines, steam from a process boiler, hot water from solar thermal, or waste heat from any high-temperature process — instead of compressor electricity. For sites already generating heat, a single-effect or double-effect VAM can dramatically reduce the electrical cooling load, improve overall plant energy efficiency and shorten the payback on cogeneration projects. We help size the unit against your actual heat-source profile and chilled-water demand, then handle supply, installation and lifecycle support.
Typical use cases
- Cogeneration tri-gen — power + heat + cooling
- Process plants with usable waste heat / steam
- Sites targeting lower grid demand
